Annotation
The environmental conditions experienced during development profoundly affect health, physiology, and behavior in adult life. Studies in Drosophila have shown that early developmental factors (e.g., developmental temperature, dietary composition) have significant long-term consequences for adult physiology, behavior, and various fitness-related traits. However, the interplay between developmental conditions, behavior, and other aspects of adult physiology remains poorly understood. This study aims to investigate how developmental conditions shape physiology and behavior, as well as other fitness-related traits in adulthood.
