Annotation
In the past few years, we have witnesses a substantial increase in the numbers of psychological studies examining conspiracy theories. However, an important limitation of this area of research is that most of the studies are correlational and therefore they cannot bring reliable evidence about the causes and consequences of belief in conspiracy theories. The aim of the dissertation is to design a longitudinal study / set of experimental studies that would examine selected psychological or social causes and consequences of belief in conspiracy theories.
