Annotation
Perovskite materials are intensively studied due to their high application potential as cathodes for fuel cells, sensors for the detection of various gases, or materials with magnetic properties suitable for application use. The topic is focused on the search for new materials of the RET1-xT'xO3 type (RE = rare earth; T, T' = transitive metal; 0 ≤ x ≤ 1) and optimization of their properties. The student will be trained in all steps of experimental research from sample preparation and characterization, through experiments (emphasis on magnetism and parameter optimization), data analysis and presentation of results. The graduate will have a broad perspective in the field of experimental physics, which he will be able to use both in basic research and in industry.
