conspiracy theories, state-non state relations, global governance
My research concerns conspiracy theories (especially medical ones), political trust, as well as global and local governance.
I have research experience from South Sudan, Poland, and Ireland.
At present, I am working on a project concerned with the intersection of science, state and health economies. I am particularly interested in conflicts regarding vaccination programs and the ways in which citizens and states negotiate their own, often conflicting agendas.
I also work on foreign aid and international development cooperation. I am an author of ‘Institutionalised Dreams: the art of managing foreign aid’ (Berghahn, 2020).
