Research interests:
Plant stress physiology and the ecophysiology of trees:
- studying the impact of abiotic factors (heat stress, drought, heavy metals, and oxidative stress) on woody species
- the research aims to mitigate these negative impacts, especially those related to changing climate, through provenance research, defining critical conditions for various tree species, using hydrogels, and silicon nanoparticles, as well as searching for mechanisms of resistance to stress
- photosynthesis, chlorophyll fluorescence, stomatal characteristics, and water transport, as well as working in a genetic laboratory
