Annotation
The aim of this call for papers is to encourage the analysis of debut films in the context of intergenerational relationships, their continuities and discontinuities, as well as the analysis of the film industry—not only in terms of the relationships between debut filmmakers and their teachers or mentors, but also in terms of production relationships, financing, distribution, and reception.
