Annotation
The dissertation focuses on the analysis of the worldviews of the Slavs, reflected in selected texts from the Middle Ages to the end of the 19th century. The subject of the research is the language of literary, spiritual and didactic sources that convey contemporary cosmological, geographical and anthropological concepts. The aim of the work is to identify linguistic worldviews, their value and symbolic anchoring and to trace their development in the context of cultural and ideological transformations in the selected Slavic language area. Methodologically, the work is based on a philological research procedure that combines literary analysis with linguistic and historical-cultural research in the context of the history of ideas and worldviews of the Slavs. The expected contribution of the work is mainly the systematization of knowledge about contemporary mental maps of the world and their significance for the formation of Slavic cultural identities.
