Stručná anotácia
Myocardial infarction in a diabetic context may be associated with an enhanced inflammatory response, oxidative stress, and impaired nitric oxide signaling, which significantly contribute to adverse post-infarction cardiac remodeling. The aim of this thesis will be to clarify the role of nitric oxide signaling and HMGB1-dependent inflammatory mechanisms in ischemia-reperfusion injury of the myocardium using a ZDF rat model. The study will focus on analyzing changes in the expression and activity of NO synthase, inflammatory and redox markers, as well as evaluating the effects of HMGB1 inhibition on inflammation, oxidative stress, and fibrotic remodeling of the myocardium after infarction. The results obtained will contribute to a better understanding of the pathophysiological mechanisms of myocardial infarction in a diabetic environment and may support the development of targeted therapeutic strategies aimed at improving post-infarction prognosis.
