Annotation
This PhD study aims to provide a comprehensive assessment of the status, development, and changes in Slovakia's traditional agricultural landscape over the past 15 years. Building upon long-term research and an existing detailed spatial database (2009-2011), the work will analyze temporal and spatial landscape dynamics. It will integrate remote sensing data (e.g., Copernicus, CORINE) for land cover evolution, visual interpretation of satellite imagery across various time series, and statistical analysis of socio-economic factors. The study will also involve field verification on a representative sample to validate findings regarding the intensification, extensification, and overall transformation of these valuable landscapes.
