Annotation
We will test lipid transfer proteins (LTPs) of the malaria causing parasite Plasmodium falciparum as a novel target for antimalarial drugs. We plan to investigate which lipids are transfered by the way of these LTPs. We will prepare a yeast model, expressing selected P. falciparum LTPs with the goal to test inhibitors against these LTPs.
