Annotation
Ribokinases belong to the family of phosphofructokinase B kinases. Other members of this family (known as the RK family) include adenosine kinase, inosine-guanosine kinase, fructokinase, and 1-phosphofructokinase. The dissertation will be focused on the biochemical characterization and reprogramming of the specificity of selected ribokinases.
