Stručná anotácia
The EU's decision to halt imports of Russian oil and limit imports of Russian natural gas has different impacts on energy security and the economy as a whole across individual EU countries. This decision has a much greater impact on the energy security of the V4 countries. The dissertation shall investigate the effect of the mentioned decision on the energy security of the V4 countries and on their overall economic situation. One method that should be employed in the dissertation is a quantitative analysis suitable for addressing the main research question, such as the NARDL or CGE Model (Perdana et al., 2022), as well as a multisector open-economy general equilibrium model (Di Bella, G. et al., 2024).
