Annotation
Despite the evidence that the effectiveness of conventional medicine is greater than ever before, the popularity of traditional, complementary and alternative medicine (T/CAM) is growing. The present dissertation aims to explore how the trust in T/CAM relates to specific health-related
behaviours, such as medical non-help-seeking, or rejecting/stopping taking conventional medical therapies. In addition, the dissertation aims to explain these relationships through the perceived social norms of individual.
