We compare commutative BCK-algebras with commutative minimal clans, and we characterize them using Wyler's representation theorem via (i) lattice ordered groups, (ii) residuable elements of an ordered semigroup, and (iii) fuzzy representation. Finally, we characterize commutative minimal clans with condition (S) via $Δ$-l-semigroups
