My research interest includes solar physics and space weather. I am a doctor of physics, I defended my PhD thesis at Ilia State University, Georgia. I was working as a Research-assistant at Evgeni Kharadze National Astronomical Observatory of Georgia. At present, I am continuing my career in complex research of Solar corona from ground-based and space instruments as a Post-Doc at the Astronomical Institute of Slovak Academy of Science. My field of interest is the dynamics and evolution of the Chromospheric jets. Chromospheric flows and jets are the most interesting, important and integral part of the solar atmosphere observations. Most of the physical processes like radiative energy exchange and thermal conduction were connected with flows and jets. One of the great examples of the Chromospheric jet is solar spicules and mottles. So-called Spicules are hair-like, thin, cool and dense structures that mostly appeared in strong Chromospheric lines at the solar limb or Solar disk.
I have had to participate in the international FP7-PEOPLE-2010-IRSES-269299 SOLSPANET (Solar and Space Weather Network of Excellence), in 2(two) local Shota Rustaveli Georgian National Science Foundation projects of fundamental sciences as a Key person and also successfully completed a doctoral research grant (PHDF2016-147) funded by Georgian National Foundation. In these projects, I study coronal rain, its appearance, velocity, acceleration etc. In 2015 I got THE PASCAL PRIZE at L.E.P.L. Ilia State University, Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2018, I participated in a ground observation campaign on one of the largest solar telescopes, the Swedish Solar Telescope, located in La Palma (Canary Islands).
