I am interesting in two main scientific directions. The first is the study of extrasolar planets, namely, obtaining light curves of stars with exoplanets from photometric observations, and their subsequent analysis to find the parameters of such systems. In addition, I take part in a project to search for planets around white dwarfs, as well as in the study of the chromospheric activity of stars with exoplanets, in order to detect the influence of nearby giant planets on the chromospheres of parent stars. Currently I am working on the international project DWARF, led by Theodor Pribulla, AI SAS. This observing campaign is focused at detection of substellar companions around low-mass eclipsing binaries using method of minima timing.
The second direction of my research is cataclysmic variables, and specifically, classical and dwarf novae. My work is to find the periods of brightness variations during outbursts, as well as other physical parameters of systems, such as temperatures, masses of components and distances between them, etc.
