European Training Action on Ceramic Nanocomposites
30. 10. 2008 | videné 341-krát
February 23-27, 2009, Madrid, Spain
Ceramic nanocomposites are some of the most promising materials for an increasing number of diverse applications; from coating powders for aerospace surfaces to knee and hip implants. All of these applications are developing rapidly and some are already being used in industrial processes.
What is the background of these new “knowledge-based” materials? What are the technological and scientific barriers to obtaining value-added products? What synthesising, processing and up-scaling technologies are now available or anticipated in the near future?
Answers to these and other questions related to the world of ceramic nanomaterials will be provided in this training action on “Ceramic Nanocomposites” by experts of the Consortium of the Integrated Project NANOKER.
Interested applicants are kindly asked to complete the application form and send it to training@nanoker-society.org before closing date of 7th November 2008.
Further information about the event is available in the attachment or at the website http://www.nanoker-society.org/index.aspx?id_page=387
