27. 9. 2006 | videné 1038-krát
The Specific Support Action SMART, a project within the 6th EU Framework Programme is mapping materials activities

all over Europe to identify future materials needs of strategic relevance on behalf of the European Commission. The roadmapping workshop “Materials for a Safe Europe” is one of three SMART workshops which are dealing with core future items: materials for personal safety & security, energy and better life.

The aim of the workshop Materials for a Safe Europe is to identify the role materials play in personal safety, including anti-fraud and personal identity protection. A roadmap will then be developed for all security-related materials and technologies up to 2030. This roadmap will provide support to the European Commission concerning future decisions on research strategies and funding within FP7 and beyond.
