International Congress on Optical Particle Characterization, 9-13 July 2007, Austria
15. 8. 2006 | videné 1363-krát
The 8th International Congress on Optical Particle Characterization (OPC2007) will take place at
the Karl-Franzens University, Graz, Austria, from July 9 to 13, 2007.
The theme of the congress covers the entire field of characterization of small particles by electromagnetic radiation. This is not limited to the regime of visible light, but also includes UV, IR and X-rays. Contributions from all aspects in this field will be welcome: experimental methods, evaluation techniques, theory and computer simulations, and applications in different fields.
The aim of the congress is to discuss not only the optical determination of particle concentration, size, shape, structure and composition but also their interactions in dense systems and optical treatment of particulate matter.
Sessions will include:
• Dilute Systems and Single Particle Detection, Nanoparticles
• Concentrated Systems, Interacting Particles
• Solidification, Arrested Dynamics
• Micro-Particles as Micro-Resonators
• Hierarchically Organized Particles
• Medical Applications and Bioparticles
• Industrial Applications, Particles in Flow Fields (LDA, PDA)
Further information concerning this congress will be posted on the web page www.opc2007.at in the near future. For any further inquiries send an email to opc2007@uni-graz.at.
