We present preliminary model light curves for detached eclipsing binaries in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) on the basis of the new photometric data of the OGLE-III project as well as in the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC). In our effort to establish a procedure for a light curve solution, we compare our results with previous photometric and/or spectroscopic studies for common selected systems in order to discuss the parameters that are responsible for the discrepancies.
