O článku:
This study reflects changes of priorities in American Africa Policy since September 11, 2001. It presents major territorial interests and the most debated issues including terrorism, development, HIV/ AIDS, and democracy. It does not deal with the US competition with China or other international powers in Africa but presents rather an overview of American policy in Africa. The major focus is given to the period of George W. Bush government while contemporary Obama administrative is rather neglected since it is too early to make an analysis of Obama’s Africa policy. Moreover, we can see continuity in American Africa Policy since September 11 and it seems that Obama’s government will not mean any direct changes in these trends.
