The paper deals with the results of phytocoenological research of the chosen natural alpine plant communities within the class Mulgedio-Aconitetea, rare in the Krivánska Malá Fatra Mts. For the first time, the phytocoenological relevés of the associations Aconitetum firmi and Aconito firmi-
Rumicetum alpini are presented from the studied area. The short synmorphological, synecological and synchorological characteristics are given, respecting the regional traits. The literary review is discussed, as well.
