O článku:
An attempt to compare regional flora with the flora of beech forests on limestone of the rest of Slovakia were made. Constant species typical for beech-forest communities on the klippen belt were distinguished. Flora of local beech forests is rich in termophilous species. Occurrence of the sciophilous Orchidaceae family species is typical here, while dealpine species occur rarely or are completely missing. Some typical calciphilous species do not occur in the region, as well. On the other hand, dealpine species and calciphilous grasses (mainly Carex alba, Sesleria albicans a Calamagrostis varia) are typical for the other regions of Slovakia. Protected and endangered taxa of vascular plants with their localities on the limestone of northwestern part of the Slovak klippen belt are presented as well. We recorded 16 protected species, 24 endangered species and 1 subendemit species. Among them, regionally rare beech-forest species are Asplenium scolopendrium, Coralorhiza trifida, Dentaria glandulosa, Epipactis helleborine subsp. orbicularis, E. leptochila, E. neglecta, Galanthus nivalis and Taxus baccata. Numerous new localities of species of Epipactis genus belong to the interesting findings. Consequences between regional and national level of rareness are discussed in the paper.
