Historical and recent knowledge of six alien and naturalized Cucurbitaceae taxa in Slovakia are presented. The most common and naturalized species are Bryonia alba and B. dioica, distribution of both taxa was concentrated in southern part of the country. Ecballium elaterium and Lagenaria siceraria were recorded very rare and temporarily only. Sicyos angulata and Thladiantha dubia were scattered, but recent spreading at new localities were established
