The paper contains the information about the new and confirmed localities of Schoeno-plectus supinus in the Východoslovenská nížina Lowland, which was the species found on the summer 2005. The historical and recent distribution is discussed too and documented on the point map. Phytosociological status of S. supinus is mentioned using data from all recent Slovak localities. The species was found in the communities of the classes Bidentetea tripartiti and Isoëto–Nanojuncetea
