Triangulačné body mistríkovského modelu eseje a ich aplikácia na štylistiku digitálnej éry

In the presented paper having the character of scientific consideration we strive for a conceptual and relational (operational) reconstruction of the Mistrík’s understanding of the essay and essayistic style, which in his conception belongs to the primary, subjective-objective communication styles. We used for this purpose the triangulation method used to determine the position of 3D objects in geodesy and cartography. Based on a critical reflection of relatively well-known facts and statements about the essayistic style, we gradually set aside the triangulation points of Mistrík’s model of essay and update it about the current language situation, ergo situation in stylistics significantly influenced by digital and multimedia communication tools. We document our findings with text fragments from older and also contemporary essayistic texts.
