In this article the author studies the glacial forms of the Furkotská, Suchá and Važecká valleys in the western portion of the High Tatras, on the Southern side. His attention is chiefly directed to the disintegration of the moraines of the last Würm glaciation. He also brings recent facts about the spreading of these moraines to the Southern slopes of the above-mentioned plains. Finally he summarises new information about erosive glacial forms and periglacial phenomena.
