In this article geomorphological problems are solved concerning the south-western region of the Slovakian Karst. On the basis of detailed geomorphological mapping – (1 :25 000) – the author tried to work out the classification of forms and evaluate them from the genetic standpoint. Some remains of karst formations are assumed from the neogene levelling. The disintegration of the plateaux was carried out probably in two phases.
