This study brings the evaluation of phenological conditions in Eastern Slovakia from the observation of 3 characteristic stations. The starting dates of phenological phases have been fixed for the chief agricultural planta (see table 1 – the starting dates of the first flowering of fruit-trees (table 2), the starting dates of the phenological phases of forest and embellishment vegetation (table 3). The author has compared the phenological conditions of Eastern Slovakia with the Danube Valley and has shown how a more Continental type of climate prevails in Eastern Slovakia.
