Metódy geomorfologického výskumu použité v rumunských Karpatoch

In the study the author analyzes the methodological questions of the geomorphological investigation in the Rumanian Carpathians. Within the last 20 years some „key“ problems have been solved and they are connected with the dating of the denudation plains of the fluvial, glacial and periglacial erosive and accumulation forms of the Eastern and Southern Carpathians, while the latest experimental methods have been used. The synthesis of the detailed investigation is the fundamental geomorphological map of Rumania and the orographical-geomorphological regionalisation which has been published in a monograph about the Rumanian People’s Democratic Republic.
