O článku:
The contribution deals with the question of a uniform soil classification on the river sediments of the Danubian lowland. We propose to use, in these conditions, the soil classification of Kubiena (1953) and Műckenhausen (1962). Special attention is devoted to questions concerning the origin and development of those meadow soils, which have not been generated by drying out of bog soils and do not exhibit any sings of gley processes. Their deep humus horizons originated owing to an intensive bioaccumulation of the organic matter of forest associations in semihydromorphic conditions. We propose to denote this special „chernozem – like alluvial soil“ type by the name chernitza.
