Niektoré problémy štúdia bytového fondu

Based on a brief survey of existing works dealing with the solution of questions concerning the housing and dwelling funds, the author supposes three directions of the further development of their geographical examination; study of the settlements material component within the geography of residences, study of the dwelling funds within geographical researches in the non-productionale sphere and, finally, introduction of the study of lodging conditions into the works on habitation environment, within the research of living milieu. After outlining the fundamental problems of the three mentioned directions of research and on using ten indices, reflecting the basic building-technical properties of quarters and the relation of their largeness to the number of inhabitants, he shows One of the possible manners of evaluating the quality of housing funds from the aspect of dwelling standard.
