O článku:
On researching the wind erosion, by means of a deflameter, it has been found that this device was very suitable for stationary examinations. Based on the first results of 1971, its construction has been modified in 1972, and further research has been executed. These changes in the construction were very useful. The research of wind erosion by means of the deflameter in 1972 was focussed to the study of some elements, from which special attention was particularly devoted to the quantitative changes occurring in the soil, to the aggregate analysis of drift materials and the decrease of soil humidity owing to deflation, The question of the movements of soil particles of various sizes, during deflation, was found to be especially interesting and it was ascertained that even particles large 1 – 2 and more mm are moving through the air. Namely, they have been caught in the deflamenter’s highest trap, in the height of 2 m above the earth. From the functional standpoint too, the deflameter is a very simple device turning automatically in the wind direction and it needs no special attendance. Its advantage consists in that it is able to register even the so-called secret erosion, imperceptible with the naked eye.
