O článku:
The distribution of potential water erosion of soil of a different intensity in the area of south-western Slovakia is determined by relation bet- ween coefficients applying to unchanging natural factors. Within the higher hilly land of lowlands relief a potential carrying-off of soil cover from 0,11 to 5,00 mm per sq. km and year prevails. The most intensive potential soil erosion (5,00 – 10,00 mm per sq. km and year) has been ascertained in those parts of mountain relief the ridges of which with abrupt slopes (20 – 35°) are built of little-resistant Mesozoic rocks. It is necessary to preserve continuous forest associations in these positions with a suitable composition of forest wood species.
