O článku:
The territory of the Low Beskides by Its morphological evolution, structural build up and lithological composition of flysch strata-series, belongs to the most affected areas by slope movements landslide character in the West Carpathians. The presented contribution, on the example of the Kaštielik structure, points to the conditions of their occurrence and their character. The superficie of the territory affected by landslides attains about 314 ha. In the upper part of the slopes predominate mainly block fields, formed by loosening and gradual sliding of the Zlín sandy strata. The lower parts of the slopes are affected by landslides in the deluvial sediments, lying on the claystones of the Belovežské strata. At present the surface of the landslides is intensely adapted and recultivated for agricultural uses (meadows, pastures, arable soil), but without taking into consideration their ensuring, which may bring about the danger of movement reactivation.
