One of the substantial features of the beginning scientific-technological revolution is the fact that science becomes an immediate production force. is geography ready for this task? its object and its social mission suggest that it has great potential presuppositions to go out strengthened from the contemporaneous changes in sciences. It is, however, called for aiming at programmed, Progressive complex tasks aimed at the needs of man. The tasks consist, in this time, in an integrated studying the landscape system and its unity with socio-economic processes, together with their interrelations and their optimum spatial structure.
