Einige Klimageographische Aspekte der Entwicklung des Urbanismus in der Slowakei

According to some basic climatic elements calculated from the observing materials of meteorological stations we solved the delimitation of climate in Slovakia from the viewpoint of urbanism. For the analysis, we used the frequency of the number of continuous days with precipitation, with sun light, mist, snow cover, further we used the temperature sum of the period with daily temperatures over 10° and the frequency of calm and of wind rate in percentage of all the time of the year. The spaces with values of climatic elements were divided according to suitability of climate for urbanism into 7 degrees as areas very good, good, favourable, averagely favourable, unfavourable, bad and very bad. The evolution of climate from the viewpoint of its significance for urbanism Is expressed on the map „Delimitation of climate from the viewpoint of urbanism“.
