O článku:
This contribution affords a view of the distribution of neoplasms, (above all cancerj in Slovakia on the basis of mortality, above all according to the districts, but additionally also according to selected towns for three five-year periods (1960 – 1964 = A, 1965 – 1969 = B, and 1970 – 1974 = C). The category of towns is included above all in respective district by population as well as by cases and thus also by mortality, and only subordinately the towns have been evaluated more. In this sense, the territory of Slovakia is to be seen above all as a mosaic of districts with respective intensity, and only then as that with selected towns for completing the picture. In all the three periods three differently intensive zones may be seen unambiguously. The are the maximalist one in the Southwest (or to the south, the minimalistic one in the northeast) or to the north, and the central one situated between them.
