The aim of the paper is to introduce a reliable method of measurement of the economic efficacy of production from territorial aspect. Based on the presumption that economic efficacy cannot be expressed on using a single index, the author suggests a matrix of efficacy presenting all relations among the most significant parameters of economic activity of the investigated economic unit. By means of a hypothetic example he illustrates the use of the suggested method on studying the level of efficacy of production in an arbitrary territorial unit, on investigating the dynamics of efficacy and eventually on comparing the efficacy level in a series of territorial units as well.
