In the work the agroclimatic potential of the territory of Slovakia has been assigned as a degree of climatic suitability for agricultural product- ion, above all for vegetable one, namely on the basis of quality of temperature and moisture related to the yields of basic agricultural crops [winter wheat, spring barley, winter rye, oat, maize, sugar beet and potatoes). The delimitated spatial wholes are characterized by a synthetic degree of the potential of mentioned agricultural crops together with the agroclimatic potency: with a high, raised, average, lowered, low and very low one.
