In investigating the erosion rate of soils, the individual components of the environment are analysed, and from their mutual relations the effect of soil erosion factors and conditions upon the course of erosion processes is evaluated. One half of the soils in the district is considerably deteriorated by superficial flushing, which has an unfavourable effect on the soil and thus also on the plant production. Evet nowadays, in the region of considerably eroded soils, substantial flushing of materials occurs in the course of the year, so that the affected soils require an effective contra-erosive protection.
