O článku:
In the contribution the territory of the Slovak Socialist Republic (SSR) is divided into regions according to both the functional-typological and the nodal approach. The distribution of core spaces with high primary (natural) potential for economic utilization served as criterion for the delimitation of functional-typological regions. These core spaces should provide possibilities for interior, interregional and statewide communicational interconnections. Four regions have been set up in this way. According to the ration of immigrants to both Bratislava and Košice boundaries of two nodal regions of the SSR have been assigned. The regions have been valuated from the viewpoint of their both primary and secondary (technical) potentials. The loads of the primary potential by the secondary one as deviated from the average of the SSR have been found. Possibilities of a proportional development of the regions are proposed on this basis.
