O článku:
Temperature is a significant meteorological factor taking part directly or also indirectly in creating conditions for avalanches. It is deciding in the physical process when snow crystals arise in the atmosphere, conditioning creation of their shape. Both the shape and structure of snow crystals are deciding in the primary stability of the snow layer created by them. The temperature influences further on the process of transformation of snow crystals, having disposal of the intensity and final product. It exerts also a great influence on the dynamic processes in the snow cover. The so called snow creeping occurs due to temperature, increasing directly by temperature. The provoked snow melting lowers the inner friction and a situation ariess when the danger of avalanches is unusually great.
