Vzťah urbanizácie a industrializácie v Slovenskej socialistickej republike

The correlations between the urbanization and industrialization were studied in both chronological and spatial aspects. A strong mutual interaction of both the processes has been confirmed, although differentiated in time and space. The processes of urbanization manifested themselves in Slovakia during the post-war period most rapidly in connection with the socialist industrialization. The bonds between the urbanization and industrialization are expressed within the set of Slovakia’s districts by means of a regressional analysis. A classification of districts according to the degree of urbanization and industrialization development has been worked up.
