For the territory of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic the greater significance has limitation of temperature soil regimes types. Temperature regime types are correlating with the temperature of air, geomorphological territory, plant cover and soil type. For ecological purposes significant is the characterization of temperature soil regime types, not only by the temperature sum for year with temperature higher than 0 °C in the soil depth of 20 cm, but also by the days number with temparatures higher than 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20 ”C.
