In the contribution we have studied theoretico-methodological approaches in determining types of agroindustrial territorial complexes. For conditions of socialized production and relatively finished territorial concentration of agroindustrial structures types of agroindustrial territorial complexes may be laid out as follows: an agroindustrial territorial system (APTS), an areal agroindustrial complex (AAPK), a peri-urban agroindustrial complex (PAPK), and a regional agroindustrial complex (RAPK).
