O článku:
The paper evaluates air current in 7 selected stations being situated in southwestern, Southern and central parts of Slovakia, in the individual weather situations according to Konček-Rein’s typification. In some situations, when the air is circulating Írom NW quadrant, the wind velocity increases leeward at the stations Bratislava — Koliba and Bratislava – Ivanka, while at the station Kuchyňa – Nový Dvor it decreases wind- ward. In other situations, when the air is circulating from SE quadrant, the wind velocity increases leeward at Kuchyňa – Nový Dvor, while at Koliba and Ivanka it decreases windward. This influencing the wind velocity is caused by the morphology of mountain ranges. The air current is not disturbed by mountain ranges morphology at Hurbanovo and not at Mlyňany in most situations. Sliač is situated at a valley-basin site and possesses maximum of caim as well as also (predominantly) the lowest wind velocities. Švermovo, in turn, possesses minimum of calm and the highest wind velocities of all the stations at almost every situation, which is caused by the field configuration.
