The contribution deals with problems of the geographical organization of soil cover, which may tie conceived as a manner of being organized as to minor pedogeographical units within major ones; conceiving pedogeographical units of different dimensions are pointed out, namely topic, choric, regionic and planetary. Also some methods are analysed here, namely those which can be used in quantitative characteristics of the geographical organization of soil cover.
