Bourdieuov náčrt jednej auto-analýzy: recenzia, ktorá sa nepodarila

The paper is primarily based on Pierre Bourdieu’s publication Esquisse pour une auto-analyse (2004), here in Czech translation Sociologické hledání sebe sama (2012). The book is divided into separate unnamed units where various subjects (of the author’s lifetime) and levels (of analysis) intersect each other. In the present paper, the author tries to identify and unravel some of the lines and arrange them to several logical units (Bourdieu about intellectuals, his Algerian experience, youth era, child hood, and overall message), together with the use of other relevant resources. Further the author tries to interpret the text in the way which could be particularly beneficial in current Slovak ethnological discourse. The paper can be situated at the crossroads between (academic and literary) genres, similarly as the original text, which can be read as artistic text as well as scientific analysis.
