On 8 localities in Považská Bystrica and a distant one in Pružina-Briestenné 18 species of ferns, 7 species of horsetails ans 4 species of clubmosses were recorded. Information on several red-listed species is presented – Blechnum spicant (VU), Dryopteris affinis (DD), Diphasiastrum complanatum (VU), Lycopodium annotinum and L. clavatum (LR: nt). Some of the localities were not known so far. The data supplement contemporary knowledge on distribution of these taxa. In some cases, moreover, they enable to re-evaluate extent ant factors of threat
